I just installed Windows Vista on my laptop, mainly because I was tired of 7.
After using TeamViewer with Robert, it makes me want to get Windows 7 again. I have a copy of Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and x86.

Should i upgrade?

Get 64bit if your ram is above 3GB or are looking to upgrade above 3GB.
For some reason, the 32bit versions only max out to 3GB, which really sucks.

I've heard about this, except I don't understand:
I have used x64 before, but when copying files to different places on my HDD, the transfer went at 18 MB/s.
Now, when using a x86, it transfers at 28 - 30 MB/s.
I have 4GB of DDR2 RAM installed...

It could be because x64 takes more power.
It can run both 32 and 64 (tried both on my friends compy, worked perfectly).
8GB is where you want to be if you're getting a 64.
32 is just too damn slow.
